The feature song, Winds of Change is a musical interpretation of the historical passage taken by Barack Obama and his inspirational campaign to reach the highest position in the greatest country in the world.   The composition transitions through integral stages of Barack’s journey beginning with a single flute serenade representing Barack contemplating bringing change to Washington DC and ultimately making the commitment to run for the Presidency of the United States.  A duo of flutes takes center stage as a symbolic account of the state-by-state contests for the Democratic Party Presidential Nomination.  The ensuing increased intensity of the flute duo captures the “fired-up, ready-to-go” general election campaign wherein Barack soars steadfast above the trenches of the status quo establishment.  The outro epitomizes the happy harmonic ascent to victory as Americans vote overwhelmingly to embrace the Winds of Change with sails of hope.  The leadership of Barack Obama calls forth the “better angels of our nature” to collectively rise to the challenge of and successfully navigate through the most critical and defining moment in our nation’s history to emerge as One America.
